This platform provides near-real-time and short-term forecast information on air pollution, including PM₂.₅, PM₁₀, NO₂ and O₃. The platform is designed for research, public-health communication, education and general air-quality awareness.
2. Data and forecast disclaimer
The information shown on this platform is generated from monitoring data, satellite observations, meteorological data, atmospheric models and statistical or machine-learning methods. Forecasts are subject to uncertainty and may be affected by data gaps, model assumptions, spatial resolution, weather conditions, fires, dust events and other factors.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and timely information, but we do not guarantee that all data, forecasts, maps, alerts or visualisations are complete, accurate, current or error-free.
3. Not official or medical advice
This platform does not provide official government air-quality warnings, medical advice, emergency advice or regulatory determinations. Users should follow advice from local health authorities, environmental agencies, emergency services and qualified health professionals.
In an emergency, contact the relevant emergency service in your location.
4. Use of the platform
You may use the platform for lawful personal, educational, research and non-commercial purposes. You must not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, conduct unauthorised bulk downloading or scraping, misrepresent the outputs as official warnings, or use the information in a misleading or harmful way.
The data and outputs provided by this platform are for non-commercial research and public-interest purposes only. Use of the data or platform outputs for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from Monash University.
5. Third-party data
The platform may use data from external providers. These data may be subject to separate licences, terms of use and attribution requirements. We are not responsible for errors, interruptions or limitations in third-party data or services.
6. Intellectual property and attribution
Unless otherwise stated, the platform, including its design, software, model outputs, visualisations and documentation, is owned by or licensed to Monash University. If you use platform outputs in reports, publications, presentations or public communications, please acknowledge the platform as follows:

7. Limitation of liability
Use of the platform is at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monash University is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, decision, missed warning, delay, error or consequence arising from the use of, or reliance on, this platform or its outputs.

If the platform collects personal information, such as email addresses, user accounts, location information, feedback or analytics data, this will be handled according to the platform's Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the platform or these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
